Btw I found Feecle. This is a Japanese microblogging service and its system (architecture?) is more similar to jaiku.

I actually prefer jaiku but the problem is that most of my friends usually use twitter

lol thanks! I use twitter for my japanese posts and jaiku for my english posts. anyway twitter is very frustrating these days!
